Different DPI resolution explained below
Description
The unit of measurement used to evaluate an image's clarity and detail on paper is Dots per inch, or DPI. The DPI is a ratio that indicates the number of pixels needed to print one inch of paper. A higher DPI means that there are more Dots per inch, which produces an image that is crisper, clearer, and has more detail. Generally speaking, a lower DPI indicates a lower quality image, but a higher DPI will produce a higher quality image. If you want high print quality, you must ensure that your images have a high DPI. When you print an image at 300 DPI, for instance, the printer will use 300 tiny ink droplets to print every inch of your picture, producing prints with smoother edges and finer detail.
DPI converter tool helps to modify picture DPI value in metadata (headers). The DPI value of an image can be found in the X and Y resolution of metadata. By changing these values in headers, the actual quality of an image remains unaffected. However, when printing an image on paper, the printer reads the image DPI in header and will use as much as tiny ink droplets to print every inch of your picture. By increasing the picture DPI in metadata, the printer will use more ink droplets and producing prints with smoother edges and finer detail. The most popular resolution for high-quality printing is 300, which is raised by default with this tool. However, the user has the option to set any DPI value to change in headers using this tool.
What we do
Simply add the picture to the tool, enter the DPI value, and click Convert to increase the DPI resolution in the picture header (metadata).
There aren't any additional limitations, registration costs, hidden costs, or demo versions. You can easily increase the DPI resolution on any number of images.
This DPI Converter tool is completely safe to use. After two hours, the images that were uploaded to the server for increasing DPI resolution are automatically deleted.
No special skills are required to increase DPI resolution using this tool. Simply add picture to the tool, set DPI value and click convert button.
There are no sign-up or login requirements, nor are there any other limitations. You are free to modify the DPI resolution on any number of images.
The image with the modified DPI value is readily downloadable. The preview of the DPI-modified image and the download button appear in the preview section once the DPI value has been changed in the image header.
